Lord Sedwill is a British diplomat and senior civil servant who has held many senior roles. This include Cabinet Secretary and Head of the Home Civil Service to Prime Ministers Theresa May and Boris Johnson. He has also served as the UK's National Security Adviser. He was previously the UK's Ambassador to Afghanistan and the NATO Senior Civilian Representative in Afghanistan. He has also been the Permanent Under-Secretary of State at the Home Office.
